KB Home Names Ben Redman President of Arizona Division


PHOENIX, Sep 24, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- KB Home (NYSE: KBH), one of America's premier homebuilders, today announced that Ben Redman has been named president of its Arizona division. In this role, Redman assumes responsibility for all of the Company's homebuilding operations throughout the Phoenix and Tucson areas, from land acquisition and construction to sales and customer service. KB Home is one of the region's largest homebuilders, and was ranked highest in new home quality and in the Top 3 in customer satisfaction among homebuyers in Phoenix, according to studies by J.D. Power and Associates released last week.

Redman will work closely with Mark Rodocker, executive vice president of KB Home's Arizona division, who has served KB Home in a variety of roles since joining the company in January 2003. Most recently, Redman was president and chief operating officer for Westpac Development Corp., a land development firm in Phoenix. Over the past three years, he led the acquisition and development of single-family homebuilding real estate assets. Prior to Westpac, Redman was with Pulte/Del Webb Corp. from 1995 to 2006. Redman served as president of Pulte's Phoenix Division for four years, overseeing one of the largest single operating divisions in the company. Redman has lived in Arizona for over 20 years and started his career at KB Home in Phoenix, where he served as head of the forward planning department for three years.

Redman graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture and received his MBA, with an emphasis in Real Estate, from Arizona State University.
