KB home designs at Sea Cliff will boast state-of-the-art
water-conserving technologies, offering homebuyers the first opportunity
to own a WaterSense® labeled home with advanced plumbing,
drought-tolerant landscaping, smart irrigation and the innovative Nexus

With all of these water-efficient elements, each new home built at Sea
Cliff is estimated to conserve up to 100,000 gallons of water annually
for a household of four or more when compared to a typical resale home
and landscaping, a reduction of approximately 70%. This up to 100,000

Indoors: Up to 33,000 gallons can be saved by using WaterSense labeled
fixtures, ENERGY STAR® certified appliances, and hot water
recirculation pumps.

design guidelines for landscaping and irrigation systems, as well as
by using treated and recycled grey water for landscape watering needs.
Collectively, the 52 KB homes planned at Sea Cliff are projected to save
5,200,000 gallons of water in aggregate each year, the equivalent of 520
residential swimming pools, or more than 150 million gallons over the
next 30 years.
